At ScyLight 2026 in Tenerife, we are proud to announce the launch of our new Data Hub, a platform designed to democratize access to high-value atmospheric data while fostering collaboration between industry and the research community.
- Cloud coverage
- Atmospheric turbulence
- Aerosols
These parameters are critical for designing, deploying, and operating reliable, high-performance optical ground-to-space links.
Through our new Data Hub, industry stakeholders and researchers can now access qualified atmospheric data from our measurement network without having to deploy and maintain their own infrastructure.

26 sites are currently available.
Up to 2 years of historical data can be accessed through subscription !
Additional sites can be deployed on demand under specific commitment conditions. In such cases, Miratlas installs, operates, and maintains its own monitoring systems, ensuring continuous access to high-quality atmospheric data.
The platform includes:
– A secure web interface for data visualization, analysis, and download
– An advanced API for seamless integration into simulation, planning, and operational workflows
– Flexible subscriptions for both software services and datasets
These data enable users to:
- Optimize the location of future optical ground stations
- Assess optical link availability before making investment decisions
- Improve network resilience through geographically diverse sites
- Select, in real time, the stations offering the most favorable atmospheric conditions to maintain link availability
But this Data Hub is much more than a data access platform.
We are building a virtuous ecosystem where industry stakeholders, operators, and researchers collaborate around a shared strategic resource.
Company X acquires, validates, secures, and distributes atmospheric data.
Industrial users leverage these data to optimize decision-making and reduce operational risks.
Research institutes and laboratories develop increasingly advanced models for analysis, forecasting, and optimization.
Operational feedback from the field continuously improves these models and contributes to advancing the entire community.
Because the true value does not lie in the data alone. It lies in our collective ability to transform data into knowledge—and knowledge into operational decisions.
That is the ambition behind our Data Hub: connecting data, research, and industry to accelerate the development of the next generation of optical ground-to-space communications.
